The museum building is constructed as a house, later used as office and was known as the "Trade House Gubins brothers." The three-storey building with an attic from 1918 to 1970 was the county committee of the RCP (b), from 1970 to 1980 - the Young Communist League, from 1980 to 1995, the mansion was given to the HCS. In 1995 the building was handed over together with the estate museum-reserve in 2001 called the Museum of merchant life.
