State Aviation Museum - an exhibition of civil and military aircraft, located in the open air in Solomenskiy district of Kiev. The museum was founded in 2003, its opening is confined to the largest date - the 100th anniversary of world aviation. Here are the airplanes and helicopters of various periods, missile, fighter jets, military training and passenger aircraft, given information about their characteristics (practically everywhere there are signs).

In an area of ​​twenty hectares harvested and taken about seventy exhibits, some of them even can "shelter" you aboard. The cockpits of small helicopters - an excellent overview of all parts and devices. Furthermore, in the arsenal of the museum, and the rocket engines are sectional and exploded fighter. The exhibition is not staggering amount of metal and machine dimensions and the complexity and amount of information.

The visitors are offered special tours on the history of the origin and formation of aeronautics and aviation, the development of aviation in the first half of the last century, during the Great Patriotic War, the history of creation and the formation of jet aircraft. You can also learn a lot of new and interesting things about the development of Russian bombers and fighter aircraft, the Civil Aviation domestic, of the helicopter in our country.

State Aviation Museum - is the youngest and at the same time the largest museum in Ukraine technical profile. The special flavor to the museum gives the neighborhood of the current Kiev airport, its runway runs about a hundred meters from the museum.
