The main street of Kemer - Ataturk Boulevard, known for its monument to the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal. He is depicted here is produced in the sky a white dove of peace. Before the monument are dancing fountains, surrounded on all sides by a marble floor. Not far from the monument towering snow-white clock tower - symbol of Kemer.
Ataturk Boulevard begins at the entrance to Kemer and consists of three segments. The first segment of the ring to the fork in the seaside street runs along the beach of Kemer Resort (200 meters from the sea), and the left side is built the new five-star hotels. The second part is a road to the city center to the bus station. The third segment of the boulevard is the shopping street with many shops, souvenir shops, small cafes and restaurants. Boulevard crosses the small rivulet. Typically, the water in it is almost there, but after heavy rains or melting snow in the mountains, the river becomes quite turbulent.
On Mondays, the Boulevard runs one of the most famous markets in Kemer. Locals sell here juicy fruit, ripe vegetables and fragrant spices. All it costs is 2-3 times cheaper than on the stalls in the city. Sold as textiles, knitwear and leather goods, buying that must be traded.
On the boulevard of Ataturk it is also the central city bus station, from the nearby towns of Antalya and sent long-distance buses.
