Krestoznamenskaya church, standing on the street in the Spa Kashin, is an architectural monument of the second half of the 18th century. It was built on the site of an old wooden (first mentioned in 1621) in the years 1782-1784 on the right bank of the river Kashinka, which echoes the architectural appearance with the ensemble of churches downtown. Temple - brick, two-storey. On the top floor there is a "summer" church on the bottom - warm.

The architectural appearance of the temple used elements of Baroque and Classicism. A distinctive feature of the building is a gently curved roof, creeping along the closed vault.

In 1869-1872 years the temple expanded by engineer Alexander Fedotov By the refectory built a porch with stairs and the western part of the refectory. Initially, the temple has a small bell tower. In 1872 we built a new bell tower with a spire, which greatly exceeded in height the temple. The temple has a faceted apse, crowned head, having a scaly surface. The facades of the first tier of the bell tower is decorated with Doric columns.

In 1929 the bell was removed from the tower, the iconostasis was dismantled. In 1936, the crosses were demolished, their restored in 1970. Since 1946, the building housed the temple Kashinsky raygorarhiv. In the years 1974-1979 the church was restored. In 1992 the church was returned Krestoznamenskuyu church.
