Located near Konak Square, the Archaeological Museum houses a rich collection of antiquities found in the majority during the excavations of Pergamon. In the courtyard of the museum you can see many amphorae, columns and capitals. The first floor contains the marble statues of Poseidon, Demeter, Artemis and the ancient sarcophagi. The second floor presents items of pottery and glass-blowing art, ceramics and objects of the Bronze Age.
The collection of the Ethnographic Museum, located opposite the Archaeological constitute items of folk art, including carpets Bergama and Gordes, traditional costumes and fabrics, camel bridle, brassware. On the ground floor of the museum you can see recreations of the interiors of the Ottoman house, an old pharmacy, printing press.
