Yuexiu Park - one of the most picturesque places of the Chinese city of Guangzhou. Yuexiu spread over an area of ​​94 hectares. It is the largest park in the city. Every spring and autumn here are organized major exhibitions and fairs chrysanthemums.

The Yuexiu Park are many interesting and unique objects, making it one of the attractions of southern China. There is a sculpture of five goats, which is considered a symbol of the city. This animal for the local population represents luck and success. According to legend, in heavy and hungry days when the earth does not bear fruit, the city came five pilgrims riding on the box. Five-storey Zhenhai Tower - the last surviving fragment of ancient Guangzhou. This is all that remains of the old wall that surrounded the city. Watchtower built in the era of the Ming dynasty in the late XIV century, and for six centuries it was rebuilt several times. Now it is used as a viewing platform, it offers a beautiful panoramic view. Zhenhai Inside is a museum whose exhibits reflect the long history of the city. It operates since 1953.

Before Zhenhai Tower, you can see the remains of twelve guns. They are reminiscent of the times of occupation of the British and French troops during the two Opium Wars, the total duration of 20 years (1840-1860 gg.).

In the park there is a well-known monument - an obelisk Sun Yat-sen, the first president of China, famous revolutionary. The monument was built in 1929. The Sun Yat-sen memorial hall periodically hosts concerts of classical music.

On the territory of Yuexiu are three picturesque artificial lake - Nanxi, Duns and bass. The lakes are connected with each other by small bridges, decorated in traditional Chinese style. Around the lakes hiking and jogging paths.
