Convent of the Assumption in Kazimirava - ancient Christian shrine, revived in 2002.

The first monastery on this earth was founded by monks bazilianami in 1713, which invited Rechitsky podkomory Casimir Yuditskii. Near the monastery village grew with time, later called Kazimirava, famous for its fairs.

The monastery houses the miraculous icon of the Mother of God, called the Casimir "Kako helps wives to give birth to my child," of which the glory was far beyond the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Here come the women, who feared childbirth. Following hot sincere prayer of generations there were lighter and passed without complications.

The monastery was founded by Basilian mission of preaching the Word of God and the school.

When the Russian imperial power in 1832, the monastery, and with it the old icon was transferred to the Orthodox Church. Last Kazimirovsky priest martyred in 1933 at the hands of the red commissioners, and not renouncing the Christian faith.

Restoration of the monastery began after the formation of the Republic of Belarus. It came a nun who was placed under house of prayer former club, who before becoming the club, was the home of a priest.

Now, as in ancient times, the monastery are many pilgrims flock, asking the Virgin Mary for the gift of children. Casimir Convent, located in the scenic area, is conducive to peaceful reflection and prayer. Newly painted walls of the monastery is famous for its beauty.
