Archbishop's Palace of the XV century is located inside the walls of the castle Eger north of the basilica. It was destroyed in the second half of the 15th century and renovated in the 19th. Now it is an art gallery and a museum of religious art Dobo Istvan, a Hungarian military, famous in the heroic protection Eger fortress against Turkish troops in 1552, the exhibition which presents the ancient church utensils and religious objects. In addition, in the hall of the museum you can see the coronation mantle of the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa of Habsburg. The museum is one of the most visited institutions in the country - it takes more than 400 000 visitors a year. The palace has a small courtyard with trees and flowerbeds.   I can complement the description
