Kenongeytskaya Church - the parish church in the Old Town of Edinburgh. This parish belong to Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament and Edinburgh Castle, although it is some distance from the church. In the summer of 2011 it was here that the wedding of Zara Phillips, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, with Mike Tindellom.

Canongate District for many years was a separate city, its merger with Edinburgh only happened in 1856.
