Dubai Fountain - the world's largest dancing fountain was designed by California-WET Design, previously created the famous fountain of Bellagio in Las Vegas. Building Dubai Fountain began in summer 2008, and its official launch, timed to coincide with the opening ceremony of the shopping and entertainment center "Dubai Mall", held for 8 May 2009.

Dubai Fountain, Dubai's cost the city budget of 218 million dollars, superior to its American counterpart in almost all respects .  Located on 30 acres of artificial lakes at the foot of the skyscraper Burj Khalifa, this fountain is a truly grand spectacle, especially during the evening show when illuminated water jets soar into the night sky with musical accompaniment - from classical and rhythms of the East to the modern, well-known all over the world hits .  At any given moment the fountain can lift into the air about 80 tons of water, and the rays of its illumination visible even from a distance of 32 kilometers .  But, of course, watch the show is best near .  Through 25 color and several thousand point projectors, and water cannons of different capacity, lifting a jet of water at an incredible height from 128 to 152 meters, it can be seen from any point of the lake, and some of the best for watching the show places considered terrace Dubai Mall and the bridge connecting with others Mall shopping complex - Souk Al Bahar . 

View presentation is completely free, every day it starts at 18.00 and runs every half hour until 23.00 on weekdays and until 23.30 on weekends (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) days.
