Children's Railway in Donetsk is located in the Park of Culture and Rest named after Lenin Komsomol, near the stadium "Donbass Arena". The line was named after the former head of the Donetsk railway - V. Priklonsky.

First Donetsk Children's Railway Kirov was opened in 1936 in Central Park named after Alexander Shcherbakov. However, during the Great Patriotic War it ceased to exist, as it was completely destroyed. New Small children's railway named after V. Priklonsky was built in 1972. There were built impressive buildings stations, as well as for diesel locomotive depot.

To date, the operation of the Small children's railway locomotive are two: TU2-023, TU2-038 and five carriages PV51. All cars are repaired, modernized and brightly colored to the delight of children.
