Botanical Garden of the University of Debrecen was founded in 1928, he united to this existing fragmented smaller area botanical collections and now its parks and alleys occupy an area of ​​more than 8 hectares.

  In the first place, in a natural environment we are brought together representatives of the local flora. Of special interest visitors to the park is an oak grove, which stretches over an area of ​​2 hectares, followed by a unique collection of cacti, placed in the greenhouse, which is about two thousand species of plants. Covered part of the garden can be visited every day from 12 am to 10 pm. The Botanical Garden is a monument Sandor Korosi.
