Argun River - a meandering river mountain, located in the North Caucasus. The length of the river is about 147 km, the total area of the basin is 3390 square meters. km. Argun is part of a large pool of the Terek River and has a mixed diet. Solid freeze-up in the river does not happen. The presence in the forest valley of the river Argun allowed the Chechens to build on its coast of a large number of villages and other dwellings.
River takes its origin from the icy northern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains. Above Chishki villages of Duba-Yurt and the Argun River is formed by the merger of rapid flows like Chant-Argun and Sharo-Argun. Each valley of the two rivers has its charm and its color.
