Temple of Azure Clouds is located near the north gate Ksiangshana, Beijing park. To build a temple in the 14th century and became known for its beautiful antique sculptures, unique panorama of the surrounding area and hall Luohan. The main building of the Temple of Azure Clouds built in 1748, and all the old buildings to modern days, have not survived.

From the courtyard of the monastery grounds you can immediately get into the Hall of Heavenly Kings, where the figure Milefo bronze. This figure is cast in the reign of the imperial Ming Dynasty. The figure depicts the Buddha Maitreyee in one of the most popular images in China. This image is a prototype - a monk Ci Xi, who lived in the 10th century, and shortly before his death was widely recognized incarnation of Buddha.

Temple courtyard was redesigned and now there is an exhibition which is devoted to Sun Yatsen, one of the founders of the Chinese state. Sun Yat-sen died in 1925 and his body lay in the Temple of Azure Clouds as long as the mausoleum was built.

On the western side of the temple is the "Hall of the Five Hundred Immortals" - a large bright room. The number 500 has a thin connection to Indian mythology, and the word "immortal" (in other words "lyuohan") - were among the first disciples of the Buddha and later distributors of faith.

In this room figurines students located alive and individually, since, unlike the Buddha, they have not reached nirvana. The figures are not stylized and are not in a deep meditative poses as a "teacher". All "lyuohan" made of wood and lined up in a full human height in the great hall in the shape of a cross. Figures here are not 500, and 508, as students are added to the still figures of gods, and the monk Chikhai. This monk, according to Chinese legend, the late for the construction of the Temple of Azure Clouds and he did not have enough space. That is why he is depicted in a reduced form in one of the ceiling beams.

On the hill temple is higher Chingan Baotsuo ie Pagoda Golden Throne. It is very similar to the stupa in Bodh Gaya in India - the place where Gautama went into a state of nirvana. Square platform over the entire surface lined with bas-reliefs depicting the Buddha. The platform is also four small and one huge pagoda. It is believed that the foundation of the pagoda immured clothing Sun Yat-sen.
