Take a walk through the picturesque Rambla of the Capuchins, you can turn to the small street leading to one of the most beautiful and famous places of Barcelona - Royale.

In the mid-19th century Barcelona authorities decided to create an area in the former monastery, announced a competition for the best project, which was won by the architect Francesc Daniel Molina .  According to the project in the years 1850-1859 was broken area, known as the Royal .  Later, in 1878, it was decided the decoration and landscaping areas .  Participation in the design of the area took a young architect Antonio Gaudi .  Thanks to an extraordinary talent and a bright outstanding architect Royal Square has acquired a gorgeous, unique and cozy look .  Gaudi created a wonderful shape and beautiful lights that are themselves a work of art .  In the evening the area is beautifully lit in their fancy light .  In the center of the square is a beautiful fountain with a beautiful name "The Three Graces", near which is always a lot of tourists resting and passers .  At the Royal Square has a large number of restaurants and cafes, and nightclubs that attract large numbers of visitors .  During many holidays in the area are organized festivals and open-air concerts, collecting a huge amount of people . 

In 1984 it was reconstructed Royale Copyright designed by architects Correa and Mila. For this project, the roadway area has been completely replaced by a pedestrian area.
