Ambuluvava - mountain, discovered in the 14th century Sinhalese king Buvanekabahu IV, located in the heart of the Kingdom of Gampola.

However, initially it did not used. Ambuluvava rises approximately 365 meters above sea level and 1965 meters above the town of Gampola. It is known for its diverse biological composition, its cover about 200 different species of plants from 80 families. The soil here is red and rich in medicinal plants such as Iramusu, Muva Kiriya, Nava Handi. Plantation and Gardens, located on the mountain, contribute to the development of agriculture in Sri Lanka.

The vegetation of the area is diverse and rich evergreen forests, flowers and climbing plants. The main reason for this is the cool mountain air. Ambuluvava is surrounded by other mountains, such as the east Pidurutalagala, Basalagela (biblical rock) in the West, Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) in the south and the north of the knuckles. Ambuluvava is the only Sri Lankan mountain peak, which is surrounded by mountains, which add elegance and beauty of the landscape.

Recent conversion minister of Sri Lanka Yayaratne turned Ambuluvavu in the vault of the national museum. On top of the mountain there are three containers that were built to supply water to the bottom of the hill. The Stone Park also presents different types of minerals from the mountain to show the value of the stone as an element of the environment.

From the top of Ambuluvavy scenic views with a beautiful entrance, water parks and stone, as well as double the pond. At the top you can also find deer, and the roads are far away from the precipice that brings on a trip to the mountain element of thrill.
