Casa Leo Morera - is one of the three magnificent famous houses, which together with the other two - Casa Amal Puig-and-Kadafalka and Casa Batllo by Antonio Gaudi - form the "Quarter of disagreement" on the Paseo de Gracia, was so named because of the unusually bright, impressive, but very different from each other architectures. The house was built by the famous modernist architect Luis Domenech at the time-and-Montarera.

Unlike other buildings this time, which used to be called in accordance with the names of their owners, Leo Casa Morera is named after the motifs present on its facade in the form of images of lions (lleó) and mulberry trees (morera).

When working on finishing the house Domenech Montarer collaborated with ceramic artist Antoni Serra and Fitero-known sculptor Eusebi Arnau, the masters of mosaic Lewis Bru and Mario Maragliano and a master of decor and furniture by Gaspar Homar.

It seems that Domenech Montarer tried to fill the facade and interior of the mansion maximum number of decorative elements of incredible beauty. Thus, the facade is decorated with columns, sculptures, reliefs and stucco depicting various motifs, from which it is difficult to look away. Particularly noteworthy are the beautiful columns made of pink marble. Much used in the decoration of the mosaic, which is made from the whole picture. The interiors are striking splendor, wealth and elegance. In this house is filled with beauty - unusual staircases, patterned ceilings, stained glass windows, which themselves are a true piece of art.
