Temples were built on the island of Philae six centuries: from the III century BC on the III century AD. But with the construction of the Aswan High Dam, the island was partially flooded, so 19721980's monuments were moved to the island Agilika.

Central among these is the great temple of Isis, built in the late Ptolemaic period. To the west of the Temple of Isis are Hadrian's Gate, in which 394 were made last year in Egypt recorded in hieroglyphs. Temple of Hathor decorated with reliefs depicting musicians and Bes - God singing. On 14 columns of the gazebo can see the image of Trajan, the Roman Emperor burned incense in front of Osiris and Isis.
