Waterfall Engshtligen reaches a height of 600 meters and is the second largest among all the Swiss waterfalls. Numerous streams flow down from the mountains to join and double cascade fall into the valley Engshtligena. Since 1948, the waterfall is included in the national list of monuments of nature and is one of the most colorful sights in Switzerland.

To get to the falls is most convenient to the bus from the village of Adelboden, but you can go and hiking .  In summer it is open footpath originating parking Unter dem Birg, and running along the water channel to the Engshtligena .  Hike usually takes about one and a half hours and the habit may seem a little complicated, but the difficulties are forgotten immediately when eyes travel offers indescribable beauty of the majestic nature .  A waterfall in the winter it's best to be admired from the cabin cable car to the mountains .  During warmer months, many choose, before reaching the top, go down the track, so easy, that it without any difficulty can come down even small children .  It is for this reason that the waterfall Engshtligen perfect for family outings .  There's also located next to the waterfall climbing trail Cheligang, widely known for its simple, beautiful views and the ability to get under the falling water jets . 

Between Unter dem Birg and Engshtligenalpom with a small platform, climbing on which you can almost touch the hand of the waterfall, enjoy the power of his roar, remaining nevertheless safe.
