Chingellotighorn - mountain, part of the massif of the Bernese Alps, located between two valleys - Engshtligenalp and Yushinental. Thanks to its unusual shape Chingellotighorn extremely popular among fans of alpine climbing. Its chalky vertex consists of four towers. On the north tower is now almost no one climbs due to the fact that as a result of what happened here in 1946 earthquake recess formed inside the tower. Therefore, climbers must either stop, just a little before reaching the top, or somehow half-meter jump through the crack, which significantly increases the complexity of the route and is fraught with the fall of the stone pit.
But her neighbor unusually popular in climbing environment since both Chingellotighorn was made the first ascent of the fall of 1903. Today, the route covering three southern towers, listed as "100 most beautiful tours through the Bernese highlands."
Get to Chingellotighorna most convenient tram going from Adelboden Engshtligenalp to the valley, and further along the pedestrian route, which can usually be overcome for 1-2 hours. The way to the top it's best to be nominated from the mountain hotel on Shvarenbahe via Kandersteg and Leukerbad. The trail connecting Chingellotighorn Shvarenbah and is characterized by its width and ease of movement on it, so that the transition takes no more than 45 minutes.
When Climbing to the middle and southern tower is recommended to be very careful, the walls of their extremely porous and careless handling can easily cause a small landslide.
