Yaroslavl State Philharmonic concert one of the leading organizations of the Yaroslavl region. Each year the Philharmonic Society introduces its visitors with musical works of different periods, genres and styles. YAGF history goes back more than 70 years - it was formed in 1937. That's when I came professional concert organization, which served as the basis for the orchestra of folk instruments under the leadership of Honored Artist of the RSFSR Yevgeny Mikhailovich Stompeleva and some chamber pop group.
During the Great Patriotic War concert brigade, formed in Yaroslavl, we conducted more than 1000 concerts in the rear and at the front. Of these groups, special renown enjoyed the Volga Song and Dance Ensemble.
In 1944, by decision of the director Alexander Yefimovich Umansky was founded Yaroslavl Symphony Orchestra. Subsequently with him many times gave concerts by prominent conductors: Yuri Fayer, Yuri Simonov, Nikolai Rabinovich Boris Temirkanov. With Symphony Orchestra worked famous artists, including noted pianists - Alexander Goldenveiser, Emil Gilels, Maria Yudina, violin - David Oistrakh, Leonid Kogan, Gidon Kremer, vocalists - Galina Vishnevskaya, Elena Obraztsova, Alexander Vedernikov and others.
YAGF Concert Hall served as the place where the first impressions of the Second Concerto for Violin and Orchestra Tikhon Khrennikov (1975, soloist - Leonid Kogan) and oratorio Alexander Flyarkovsky "Immortality" (1970).
For a long time, students are welcomed pop group "Yaroslavl guys," chamber ensemble "Baroque", pianist Nedda Ayazyan - Honored Artist of Russia, twice winner of the award Sobinov.
Currently, as part of the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic - several groups, among them - Yaroslavl Academic Symphony Orchestra, an ensemble of Russian folk instruments "Golden Dome", the Philharmonic Choir "Yaroslaviya" ensemble of Russian folk instruments "Serpentine" group "Che those do you want? An important place in the posters occupied an international organ festival named after Leonid Roizman, the festival "Transformation", held in conjunction with the Yaroslavl Museum-Preserve, concerts, "Yuri Bashmet is" in the cities of Yaroslavl region, and many others. The concerts of the festival of Yuri Bashmet perform famous musicians from St. Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of Russia and foreign countries - flutist James Geluey UK, violinist Vadim Repin from Russia, soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic, the Mariinsky Theatre, and others.
