The first mention of the church of the Archangel Michael refer to the end of the 15th century. Other information related to 1772 - when the church was built of wood and had two throne. The main altar was consecrated in honor of the Archangel Michael and the chapel dedicated to Catherine the Great.

Today, the appearance of the former church has not survived, because its existence sank on the night of the 6th to the 7th of December 1812. The church is almost completely burned, but still preserve the sacred Antimins, which was consecrated and signed by March 25, 1772, Metropolitan Gabriel.

In 1820, the restored church was consecrated in the name of Archangel Michael, and then she began acting, but in the interiors still finishing. Fully church was completed in 1829. The new church became a haven Michael inhabitants of the village. Also coming to the temple have been attributed to the following villages: Zvanka, Dubovik, Boronichevo, Borisov Gorka, Gorka Kobelev, transport, Valim, Borghini, Bohr and thresholds.

There are indications that the construction of the stone church was spent 6600 rubles. The temple had two throne, the chief of which was dedicated to the Archangel Michael, and the second - Catherine.

According to archival documents 1846-1847 years, when the temple functioned parish school, where teachers were parish priests. According to 1903, church school consisted of one class with the tutorial in 4 years.

Despite numerous measures and repression directed against the Orthodox faith in the Soviet time, the Church of Archangel Michael lasted until the late 1930s. At this time, the deacon was Shibaev Basil and priest - Murzanov Nicholas. In the summer of July 11, 1938 the church was closed, and instead it was organized by an educational institution PVHO.

Throughout the Great Patriotic War in the building of the temple housed the pharmaceutical warehouse, and after him there was a dairy factory workshop and warehouse household chemicals. Once fully liquidated the parish, in the premises of stored hazardous chemicals and paints combustible materials, causing irreparable harm even stone. The altar area was built a massive outbuilding for safe storage of existing raw materials - this design is somewhat distorted view of the building internal and overall the whole plan.

In 1984, the chemical plant warehouse was moved to another location, and the construction of the extension eliminated because of severe disrepair. Older church building fell into complete disrepair, because there was no heating, no protection, and destroyed it with incredible speed. There are photographs of 1985, which shows destroyed the dome and bell tower, all floors are completely lost, which increasingly affected the impressive part predaltarnogo space (cupola part).

In the summer of 1988 in the ruined temple it was sent to the new rector Yakhimets Andrew, who had previously served in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady in Novaya Ladoga. The man was able to collect a new community, the registration of which took place in 1991. The first priority was to restore the community and the revival of the church of the Archangel Michael. March 22, 1992 in the church held the first liturgy. During 1993 it was carried out major repairs, and in 1995 the church was again consecrated in honor of the Archangel Michael. In 2009, the Church of the Archangel Michael was built a new iconostasis, designed by artist Nikolai Pachkalovym.

Today the church is kept holy particle Mamvriyskogo oak, which was donated by the abbot of the temple at the time of their pilgrimage. Another relic became a reliquary cross, covered with gold, in which the relics of several saints.
