Central Park of Culture and Leisure in Volgograd, located between the central city stadium and a bridge on the banks of the beautiful Volga River.

The history of the park begins with the 60-ies. XX century., When the central part of Volgograd started active construction. The first draft of the Volgograd Park was established in 1967. It changed several times and corrected, and as a result the project was approved. Improvement of parkland began in 1977, there was electricity and water. In 1980-ies. here it was equipped with a dance floor, a cafe, operated more than 20 different rides, 16 of them were mechanical. And 2 of the attraction of special complexity "Ferris Wheel" and carousel "Orbit".

In the last decade, unfortunately, the Volgograd Central Park come to desolation. Therefore, in April 2013, during an official visit to the city of Volgograd Azerbaijani delegation, it was decided to create in the city park, a new modern park called "Baku".
