The building of the fire brigade Tsaritsyn Volgograd - one of the attractions of the city, is a regional architectural monument of the twentieth century. The history of this building began in 1891, when the local authorities decided to build a fire station. The operation of the building was introduced in 1897, evidenced by a memorial inscription on its facade.

The uniqueness of the building Tsaritsyn fire brigade is that it was built using a known binder Tsaritsin masonry in which bricks are placed end. In addition to the main building in the complex of buildings included the training grounds, veterinary station and stables. Fire had its own brass band.

In Volgograd, has survived until today, only two buildings belonging to the firehouse. The first of them - a fire-tower of the Central District, and the other is located in the Voroshilov district of Volgograd. At that time, the city was filled with wooden buildings, so the fire brigade played a very important role.

Capital restoration of the fire was carried out in 1950 on the facade of the building is preserved coat of arms, which is a symbiosis of the coats of arms of the Saratov province and Tsaritsyn. But construction has lost its famous Tower. The original appearance of the fire held back after the restoration in 1995. During the restoration work it was also recreated a unique way of masonry - bonder.

Today, a monument of architecture - building Tsaritsyn fire brigade is not used for its original purpose. It placed the unit of the President of the Russian Federation, Volgogradavtodor and management of highways.
