Cathedral of San Giusto - the main church of the city of Susa, standing in its historic center, and the Department of the local bishop. The original cathedral was the church of the same name just a Benedictine monastery, founded in 1029th year by order of the Marquis Manfredi Olderiko to store it recently discovered relics of St. Justus (San Giusto). The church was built around the year 1100, and since then several times rebuilt and modified. Only in 1772, the year when it was created Diocese of Susa, the former monastery church received the status of the cathedral, with all the honors.
San Giusto was built in the Romanesque style. The facade is decorated with terracotta decorations and is connected with the Roman gates of the 4th century - Port Savoie, facing to the south of the cathedral. On the same side of the six-storey bell tower stands next to the arched windows, which dominates the surrounding houses.
Inside the cathedral is in the form of a Latin cross with a central nave and two side chapels. There is also the baptistery, which dates back to an earlier era than the church itself.
