Natural Reserve "Lake Lawler" in the Italian region of Val d'Aosta was established for the protection of a small lake located at an altitude of 1175 meters above sea level and fed by three springs. Around the lake lie the extensive reed beds, mountain peaks and "smooth" the hills of glacial origin - landscapes, always attract tourists. The total area of the reserve - only 15 hectares.
Lawler is famous for the abundance of plankton, the number of which can be compared with him only one more Valdostane lake - Lauzon and flora special significance.
