Baron Gamba Castle, now located on the restoration, from a historical point of view is the "youngest" of the three castles of Châtillon commune in the Italian region of Val d'Aosta. The other two - Castello dei Passerini d'Entrev Castello di Ussel - were built in the Middle Ages. Castello Gamba was also erected in the 20th century. It stands on a small hill in the western part of the city in the town of Crest deux Bray and completely surrounded by a public park, open to visitors all year round. The castle is clearly visible from the A5 motorway, and its south side hangs over the river Dora Baltea.

Gamba Castello, built in a simple, even simple, is a compact four-storey building is almost square with a central square tower.
