The Arctic Cathedral is a Lutheran parish church Tromsdalen accommodating 720 parishioners built and consecrated in 1965. It is a unique cultural heritage of Norway, in its form resembles an iceberg floating in the polar night under the shimmering Northern Lights.

Cathedral stained glass, the main theme of which is "coming of Christ", the biggest in Europe. The architecture used everywhere symbolic number "3" - both on the altar painting of the artist Victor Sparre - three beams of light emanating from the hand of God and directed to Christ and two apostles. Oak interior, big chandelier, chair is easily combined with the ponderous simplicity of design.

In 2005, the organ was built 3hregistrovy French romantic style, consisting of 2940 pipes. He replaced the old and used for worship and concerts of organ music.

During a visit to the cathedral you can buy souvenirs, stamps, postcards and various publications on the Arctic temple. When there is a church service, the entrance is closed to tourists.
