Arthur's Court - a building in Old Town Square in Torun, built in the years 1889-1891 according to the project advisor Rudolf Schmidt. At present, on the ground floor commercial premises are located, the remaining floors are given to cultural organizations and the Symphony Orchestra of Torun.

Approximately in 1385 in the same place where now there is Arthur's Court, it was built Gothic building. It was an exquisite building, the most beautiful in the square after the town hall. First, the house belonged to a noble Brotherhood of St. George. During this period in Torun been many guilds are made bells, soaps, perfumes, and even minted gold coins.

In the seventeenth century, Arthur's Court, has been renovated in this period facades were decorated with decorative elements, there were images of Wladyslaw Jagiello, Sigismund III Vasa. In the years 1738-1745 he worked on the decoration of the building Georg Friedrich Steiner. On the ground floor the floor was lined with white and red marble slabs.

In June 1802 Prussian authorities began the demolition of the medieval building. 24 years later the square was completed the second Arthur's Court, created by architect Hekkerta. Modest classic two-story building was also demolished in 1889. Rudolf Schmidt presented sketches of a new, third Arthur's Court soon began construction, which lasted until December 1891. Since 1995, at the Court of Arthur runs a cultural center that organizes various events, congresses, conferences, festivals and competitions.
