Victory Park in Stavropol - one of the main attractions of this region, located in the industrial area of ​​the city. The park was created on the basis of roundwood Stavropol forestry. Initially, the forest occupied an area of ​​about 246 hectares. In 1973, the decision of the Council of Ministers gave 215 hectares of forest land fund in the city for the construction of parks and culture.

The project to build the park was developed in 1975 and in 1979-1980. It carried out the first stage of its construction. The park was named in honor of the 35th anniversary of the victory over fascism.

Initially, this green corner of Stavropol was virtually unvisited as placed on the outskirts of the city. Today, however, fell into the arms of the city, Stavropol Victory Park has found a modern park infrastructure. The park covers a large area, is a favorite vacation spot of locals and visitors alike.
