Only in the 2004 Presidential Decree on the site of a former Italian cemetery at the expense of the Italian side built a memorial dedicated to the memory of soldiers of the Kingdom of Sardinia, who died during the Crimean War. The monument designed by the architect of Kiev Yu.Oleynika installed at the foot of the mountain. This four-sided stele, turning into an octahedron and ending with an octagonal pyramid. Catholic cross adorns the monument. The monument is a memorial plate, where Ukrainian and Italian applied: "Eternal memory of those killed in the Crimean War of 1855-1856 years. soldiers Sardinian kingdom. September 2004 ".
