After the death in 1900 of the founder Vilmos Zsolnay factory Zholnaya atop a small hill in the vicinity of the plant, his son built a mausoleum. At this point in the distant past was the scaffold, but Zsolnay family chose him for the final resting place of the father, because here Vilmos often spent their free time.

The building is in Neo-Romanesque style chapel and a burial chamber with a sarcophagus decorated. Facade mausoleum pirogranitnoy tiled floors and tiled canopy of dark-green glass. Altar inside the chapel and the walls are also decorated with colorful tiles. Interior decoration of the mausoleum is a picture of a blue sky, cherubs and golden stars.

  Coffin Vilmos Zholnaya was placed in a crypt in 1913, in 1919 it was followed by his wife, Theresa Bell. In the 80 years of the crypt was attacked by vandals, after which in 1986 married couple was reburied in a cemetery in Pec. Today, in the crypt lie the remains of the only son Vilmos - Miklos.

  Full reconstruction of the mausoleum, with the exception of the roof was carried out as part of a year of recognition Pec cultural capital of Europe. It included not only repair the building, but also the waterfront and the roads leading to the mausoleum decorated with lions and a fence.
