Nové Hrady Palace was built in the Rococo style in the second half of the XVIII century. Its founder and first owner was an aristocrat Jean-Antoine de Harbuval Chamaré which to draft his residence invited talented architect Joseph Jager.

Finally, in 1997, the complex Nové Hrady was acquired by Magda and Peter Kucera from Prague, who spent here and the reconstruction of the palace was opened to the public.

The palace complex Nové Hrady does not only consist of a residential house, but out of the barn, where now the Museum of cycling, two parks - French and English, the entrance gate and the path, called the Way of the Cross, which leads to the ruins of an ancient fortress.
