Monastery New Martyrs Russian in Novosibirsk - a functioning Orthodox monastery, which is the first building in the city. It is located at the Church Street Christmas, a former Novosibirsk cinema "Ray."

The church was consecrated in honor of the Holy New Martyrs Russian, who suffered for their faith during the brutal persecution of the Church by the Soviet authorities, in December 1993 fall of 1996, abbot appointed hieromonk Theodosius (Cherneykina). Since then, gradually began to gather the monastic community, which later became the basis for the monastery. The monastery has a home church, consecrated in the name of St. Seraphim of Sarov, where every day is done the evening and morning monastic rule. The Divine Liturgy is held on Saturdays.

Monastery monks engaged in carving and painting on wood. There is also a joiner's workshop, a huge library of religious books and audio and video library. All the priests and novices are studying at the Orthodox Theological Institute in Novosibirsk.
