The State Historical Museum in the city of Novorossiysk is the largest museum in the Russian Black Sea coast.
The museum was founded in July 1916 thanks to the initiative of the vice-governor of the Black Sea province of LA Senko-Popovskiy as a museum of history and nature of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus.
