In the historical part of Nizhny Novgorod, in close proximity to the River Station is a house-museum of the merchant NA Bugrov, built in 1889. The two-story building is a prime example of the architecture of the late nineteenth century in eclectic style. The author of the project was the architect of the manor wing ND Grigoriev.

The owner of the mansion was the first guild merchant Nikolai Bugrov, one of the biggest industrialists and financiers of the Nizhny Novgorod province of the late nineteenth century.
