Photo: Beach Kastraki
Kastraki - a great sandy beach on the southwest coast of the island of Naxos. It is located about 17 km from the town of Naxos (Chora), next to the beach of Mikri Vigla. Kastraki Beach is one of the largest beaches on the island, and its length is about 3 km.
Kastraki - unorganized beach, but a few small taverns where you can cool off and have a snack, as well as rent chairs and sun umbrellas (though it is worth considering that their number is very limited), you still can find here. And in the vicinity of the beach there is also a small selection of housing.
Kastraki beach is never overcrowded, so this is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy the sea and sun away from the bustle of the city and over-crowded.
