Street Ludwigstrasse ends Arcade commander. It is an open room with arched arcades 20 meters high in the style of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence. In Arcadia, built by Friedrich von Gärtner in 1841-44 years commissioned by Ludwig I, the bronze monuments in honor of the Bavarian generals Tilly and Wrede. This Bavarian Army monument reminds of the German-French War of 1870-71.

Feldherrnhalle was the site of a failed Hitler's "Beer Hall Putsch". As a result, the hall has got a certain cult status in Nazi propaganda and therefore closed for inspection.
