Palace of Music is located in a building on the square Bartok. In this building Secondary school named after Bela Bartok and Bela Bartok Musical Institute (Faculty of Music of the University of Miskolc). The palace was designed by Gyula Velderom neo-baroque and was built between 1926 and 1927 years. The construction was financed by loans from the US.
