Historical and Cultural Complex "Stalin Line" was opened on June 30, 2005 by the charitable foundation "Afghan Memory" and with the support of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Active participation in the reconstruction of the "Stalin Line" took the engineering units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

The opening of this grand military history museum complex in the open air was timed to the 60th anniversary of victory in World War II and dedicated to the heroic struggle of the Belarusian people against the Nazi invaders.

Stalin Line - the largest fortification complex in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Its total area is about 26 hectares.

Initially the "Stalin Line" was built before the war in the years 1928-1939 along the border of the Soviet Union before the war from the Karelian Isthmus to the shores of the Black Sea over a length of 1,200 km. She never officially was called Stalin Line. The name was given to her by Western media, however, the name was so precise and accurate that informally stuck in the Soviet Union.

Stalin Line was a fortified complex located in areas with these pillboxes - pillboxes. Total defense system consisted of 21 fortified, four of which were on the territory of Belarus: Polotsk, Minsk, Mozyr, Slutsk.

Reconstruction of the Stalin Line was using traditional construction. A variety of organizations and individuals participated in the creation of a collection of military equipment. Here assembled the most complete collection tank, aviation, artillery equipment, weapons. All the equipment and weapons are real, many retain traces of bullets and shrapnel bombs. Everything is in excellent condition full operational capability. Tanks travel, planes fly, you can shoot a gun.
