Catholic church of the Holy Trinity (St. Roch) was built in 1864 and designed by the academician of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts M.Sivitskogo instead of standing in its place a wooden church.

With the Church of the Holy Trinity (St. Roch) on the Golden Hill in Minsk due a few legends. One legend concerns of the name Golden Hill - a place where there is a temple of the Holy Trinity. One terrible epidemic outbreak of a contagious disease. People were dying so fast that they did not have time to bury. One of the parishioners, by profession - doctor, suggested to build a church in honor of St. Roch - Catholic saint who devoted his life to helping the sick with plague and other infectious diseases. The doctor spread his cloak, where the parishioners began to put donations: gold coins and jewelry. As a result, a gold cloak rose slide.

The second legend tells that during the terrible epidemic of contagious disease raging in Minsk, one of the citizens-Catholics had a dream in which he was approached by Saint Roch, and said that his statue is in the temple Bonifratr. The statue was actually detected, cleaned and carried it around Minsk in a solemn procession. Then the statue was installed in the church of St. Roch at the Golden Jam. As the epidemic has been stopped, the statue was considered miraculous.

The first church of St. Roch was wooden. It was burned during the great fire in 1908. In 1814, the priest Horevichem been received from Minsk authorities permission to build a new stone church, but the money for the project was not enough. Finally, the church was rebuilt only in 1864.

The newly rebuilt Church of the Holy Trinity (St. Roch) became very popular and prosperous. Beside him was organized by the orphanage, a school of organists, services were held for the first time not only in Polish but also in Russian.

The church was badly damaged during World War II. After the war he had long stood in ruins. Restoration it was held only in 1983, after which it was turned into a concert hall of chamber music of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. The Catholic Church, the church was handed over in 1991, it resumed regular service.
