Sabatini Gardens - this is one of the three magnificent parks that make up the ensemble of green surrounding the Royal Palace in Madrid. Sabatini Gardens are located by the north façade of the Palace, it can be called a masterpiece of landscape art. The gardens are located in an area of 2, 5 hectares, and one side border on the hill of San Vicente, on the other - with the street Bailen.
In the second half of the 18th century on the site was designed by architect Francesco Sabatini was built stables for the royal family. And in 1933 the stables were torn down, and began creating a green park. Sabatini Gardens were built under the guidance of the master of landscape art by Fernando Mercadal. Gardens created in the neoclassical style in the French manner, shrubs and trees beautifully trimmed, neatly arranged tracks graceful benches, friendly and peaceful murmuring fountains.
