Nasugbu - a small town in Batangas province on the island of Luzon. Located on the shores of the South China Sea, it is famous for its sandy beaches and excellent opportunities for water sports, especially diving.

Perhaps the most popular dive site Nasugbu is a Treasure Island - a small private island in a couple of kilometers from the city. You can visit the half-submerged bat cave or dive into Blue Hole - a place inhabited by a giant octopus, cuttlefish and turtles. Next to the island on the sea bottom lie the remains of an old barge that was chosen by underwater photographers.

Another interesting place around Nasugbu - Island Twin Islands, which are actually underwater rocks jutting out of the water tops. Immersed in the sea, you can see colonies of coral, colorful tropical fish, and most of these sharks. Nearby is the so-called pink wall - almost vertical underwater rock, covered with thousands of pink coral, which scurry around the green turtles and small fish.

To the north of the islands Twin Islands is located Cape Fuego, off the coast of which lie the remains of the wreck was once a Spanish galleon. Until now, perfectly preserved anchor, rope and ship's chain. This place is suitable for novice divers.

Nasugbu himself long remained unremarkable provincial town, even the date of the founding of which is still unknown. However, one year before the Second World War, archaeologists excavated in the surrounding area, made the discovery on a national scale - there was found a wooden statue of a cow, which has great importance for the understanding of the ancient history of the Philippines. The find was immediately transferred to the National Museum, but unfortunately was not able to survive the destruction of the war years, and was destroyed. However, a year after the war in the vicinity of Nasugbu were found new archaeological artifacts, which became the most important prehistoric artifacts country.

In 2007, Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo announced Nasugbu, known for its beaches, a special tourist zone. Immediately it developed a plan of development of this area, which was approved by the Philippine Tourism Association. In accordance with the plan of the national park of Mount Pico de Loro it built holiday village Hamilo Coast area of 59 sq.km. Ferry Terminal, which come directly from the Court of Manila Bay.
