Lutsk brewery was founded in 1888 by Czech colonists B. Zeman, whose family migrated from the Czech Republic in the Volyn province. It existed until 1906, the wooden building of the factory was destroyed by fire. Two years later, the brewery was rebuilt again, but this time out of stone. In 1913, the brewery came on maximum performance, producing beer of five grades: "Household", "Sakura", "pomegranate", "Bock" and "Pilzenske" that not once received the Grand Prix in Paris and celebrate the gold medals at international tasting competitions. Products brewer B. Zeman was widely known in many European countries.

In 1938 the brewery moved into the possession of Jozef Malin, Zeman in-law, and in 1939, after the accession to the USSR Volyn province Lutsk brewery was nationalized. In the postwar period, the company was part of the Volyn Beer and Beverage Industry Production Association State Agricultural Committee of the USSR. In the 90 years of the brewery was privatized.

2003 became a new stage in the development of the plant, where the joint Ukrainian-German company "Bayer" was made a huge investment project, by which was a complete modernization of the enterprise. Today the plant operates on the newest equipment that meets German quality standards. Installation of a new filtration equipment provides the duration of storage of beer in bottles up to 30 days. Since 2004 Lutsk brewery produces beer under the brand name "Zeman".

Today the trademark "Zeman" for its customers offers six beers produced on the basis of old recipes, "Zhiguli", "traditional", "Premium", "Nefiltrovanoe", "dark" and "DopelBok" that are affordable and designed the mass consumer.
