Monument to Victor Astafevu located in Krasnoyarsk, near the banks of the Yenisei River, near the Museum complex on the spit. Opening of the monument to famous Russian writer on the Place de la Concorde in November 2006 and was timed to the fifth anniversary of the death of the writer.
V. Astafjevs is one of the few writers who during his lifetime was called a classic. He was born in 1924 in a small village Oatmeal that near Krasnoyarsk. The first works of V. The monument was made by the Moscow sculptor Igor Linevich-Yavorsky. In the words of chairman of the regional Union of Artists S.
