Khao Lak National Park Lamrim got its name thanks to two mountain peaks on its territory - Lac and Lam-rim. It also includes forest area and coastline. The total area of the park is 125 sq km and a maximum height of 1077 m mountain.
Initially the area Khao Lak Lam-rim was only on the coast, but in 1974 it was proposed to expand the park to include the area of forests and mountains, to protect critical watershed areas of the province. August 30, 1991 Khao Lak Lam-rim was officially registered as the 66th National Park in Thailand.
On its territory are several spectacular waterfalls. Especially popular are the five-level waterfall Lam Ru, which is so powerful that the seasonal fluctuations of water it is not a hindrance.
