The temple complex of Ggantija is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest man-made structure on the planet - dates back to 3600-3000 years BC. The temple complex consists of two well-preserved megalithic temples, built of huge vertical and horizontal stone blocks, sometimes reaching a height of 7, 5 meters and weighing up to 50 tons.

The interior of the southern temple consists of a limestone corridor with plastered walls, leading to five apses, where the altars arranged for the animals. In other apses have apertures for Oracle and libations. North Temple is smaller and four apse.
