In Kotor coast there are many beautiful places that are worth seeing. Redeemer Church - one of the unique gem among all the other attractions of Montenegro. It is important to note that the Church of the Saviour - only part of the church complex, which is located in Topla, near Herceg Novi. Total complex consists of two temple and building that once served as the residence of the bishop of the famous and respected Njegos dynasty - Petar II Petrovic. It is here that the bishop was trained as reading and writing.

Spassky church built in 1713, however, its modern appearance is required major reconstruction in 1864.

The iconostasis of the Church of the Saviour - the work of Greek artists-painters of the XIX century. In addition, the church holds a unique collection of icons, including Russian, as well as silver objects utensils and various old books.

Many churches in Montenegro restored and were built from scratch on the site of previous churches. For example, next to the Church of the Saviour is another church - the church of St. George. It was built around the end of the XVII century on the ruins of the once Turkish mosque.
