The ancient town of Glastonbury in southern England has always been the place where pilgrims sought. Perfect Glastonbury Abbey, unfortunately, did not survive to the present day, but we can imagine its greatness, looking at the ruins. Glastonbury was surrounded by legends and myths for all tastes: Christian, pagan, chivalry. The Holy Grail, King Arthur and his tomb, crystal island of Avalon, a portal to other worlds, and much, much more. All this is attracted and still attracts many visitors, researchers and tourists. Naturally, in this town there is a lot of hotels, restaurants and pubs. One of these inns and pubs preserved XV century! It is the oldest in the south west of England Pub, located in a specially constructed building for this. The three-story building is decorated with coats of arms of Glastonbury Abbey and King Edward IV.
The hotel is still working and receives guests. Perhaps he does not meet the most demanding tastes, but lovers of history and antiquities will feel perfectly here. Old windows, oak beams and panels create a unique atmosphere and modern amenities ensure comfort. They say the hotel haunted, which is not surprising, given the age of the building.
