University College Cork - National University of Ireland, Cork - a higher educational institution in the Irish city of Cork.
  The university was founded by the decree of Queen Victoria in 1845 as one of three Royal Colleges in the Emerald Isle (colleges were established in cities such as Belfast, Cork and Galway) in order to maximize opportunities for higher education in the Irish province of Munster.

New College is located in an incredibly beautiful location on the edge of the limestone cliff overlooking the River Lee.
